Two attacks in one day linked to human trafficking

📍Amsterdam, July 6th, '21: Famous journalist Peter R. de Vries is struck down in the street with a shot in the head.
De Vries is known for his investigative journalism, with which he was able to solve several serious crimes.
NZZ: "(..) well-known research by de Vries concerned human trafficking, police corruption and criminal cases in Latin America and Australia."

Port-au-Prince, July 6th, 21st: The President of Haiti, Jovenel Moïse, is shot dead in his own house.
According to the Global Slavery Index, Haiti is one of the countries with the highest levels of human trafficking in the world.
There were also shocking findings after the hurricane 2010, when it became known that human traffickers were taking advantage of this emergency situation to kidnap children.
