The rebellion began in 1952 and continued until 1960. According to the Kenya Human Rights Commission, 90,000 Kenyans were killed, tortured or maimed during the conflict, and 160,000 were held in inhumane prison camps.

For wanting their land back after WWII, they were labeled terrorists and rounded up into concentration camps and then ethically cleansed for nearly a decade.
