I knew this captain that died in flight. Worked with him for almost 30 years. The FO was shaken. Who wouldn’t be? But, he held it together and got everyone else safely on the ground. R.I.P., MJ

I was the lead flight attendant working this flight! I am also a nurse. I was called to the cockpit to check on the Captain. Sadly it was evident the Captain has passed away. I remained in the cockpit until we landed in Syracuse. A fateful day.
