War Plan Red:

 War Plan Red (also called the Atlantic Strategic War Plan) was a U.S. military contingency plan developed in the interwar period for a hypothetical war against the British Empire.

It formed part of the U.S. color-coded war plans, in which the United States was “Blue,”

the British Empire was “Red,”

Canada was “Crimson,”

and other British territories had related shades (e.g., India as “Ruby,” Australia as “Scarlet”).
