 Building work forces the Queen to stop living at the palace
The Queen will become a commuter in her platinum jubilee year due to construction work at Buckingham Palace, which will last until she is 101.

 

She is not expected to return to living at her official London residence, the home of British monarchs since 1837, due to the £369million facelift programme.
